PWB supported the Flying Seagulls in Samos, Greece, doing some social circus outreach work with the refugees there for a week in early December. Please read the blog below for a more detailed overview of what they did.

The team are: Gina, Peter Duncan, Jules and Jamie (Tour Coordinator).

Over the week they did circus workshops, music, games and shows. As well as helping out with a disco and film nights.

In numbers they did 18 hours of workshops to 1500 children (53% female and 6% with special needs). They also did 4 shows during the week to an estimated combined audience of 610 composed of a combination of children, families and adults in the camp.

We are aiming to return to support the Flying Seagulls again – watch this space for visits to Greece in 2020. Please get in touch if you wold like to volunteer to go on a visit to Greece or would like to donate or fundraise to support our vital work with child refugees out there with little hope or access to play.
